A Vineland man charged with desecrating the human remains of a Vineland woman has now been charged with killing her.
Dennis Parrish, 52, was arrested at an Absecon hotel July 12 in the desecration and moving of Tonya Cook’s remains.
Cook, 32, was found July 2 in Lawrence Township.
Parrish, who also lives in Vineland, was charged Saturday with murder, obstruction, evidence tampering and hindering apprehension, Cumberland County Prosecutor Jennifer Webb-McRae announced Monday.
Parrish is being held at the Cumberland County Jail pending outcome of his case.
