Three people were arrested and more than 200 bags of heroin were recovered in a search of an Atlantic City residence Friday.
Atlantic City’s Special Investigations Section and the SWAT team searched a home on the 100 block of North South Carolina Avenue and found the heroin and $3,700 in cash believed to be proceeds from drug sales, Sgt. Kevin Fair said.
The investigation by Detective Will Herrerias led to the arrests of Hamid Simms, 30, Madina Hayes, 21, and a 17-year-old.
They were charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession with intent to and possession within a school zone.
