A Pennsylvania man was arrested Tuesday after police were told a man was driving in Atlantic City with a handgun.
Kevin Hennessey, 63, was found driving on Route 30 by Detectives Will Herrerias and Darrin Lorady shortly after police received the tip at 2:35 p.m., Sgt. Kevin Fair said.
The detectives conducted a motor vehicle stop and detained Hennessey, Fair said.
In the car, they found a gun, 119 rounds of ammunition and two high-capacity magazines, according to the report.
He was charged with unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of hollow-point ammunition, and possession of a high-capacity magazine.
Hennessey is in the Atlantic County Justice Facility.
