A Pleasantville man is accused of sexually assaulting a teen inside his car.
Michael Rease, 28, was arrested Wednesday, two days after the alleged attack happened, police said.
Atlantic City police were called to the AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center’s City Campus at 2:45 a.m. Monday for the report of a 15-year-old girl who had been sexually assaulted, Sgt. Kevin Fair said.
Rease was driving the victim when he parked the vehicle, forced her into the back seat and sexually assaulted her, according to an investigation by Detective Dembe Baako.
Rease was arrested at 10:51 a.m. Wednesday by Detective Fariyd Holmes and detectives of the Special Investigations Section in the beach block of Tennessee Avenue, Fair said.
He is charged with sexual assault and endangering the welfare of a child, and is being held in the Atlantic County Justice Facility.
