Atlantic City police arrested two men and recovered two handguns in an investigation at a Pacific Avenue motel. Detectives were investigating the Fox Manor on Friday, after complaints about drug activity inside and outside of the motel, Sgt. Kevin Fair said. Jamar Jones, 29, was being arrested for a contempt of court warrant when police found he had a loaded handgun, according to the report. Inside his room, police found another gun, loaded with hollow-point ammunition that had been reported stolen from Voorhees, Fair said. They also found a high-capacity magazine and three ounces of marijuana. Rafael Rondon, 24, was also arrested after he was found in possession of marijuana. Jones is jailed on gun and drug charges, along with the warrant. He had not yet been processed at the Atlantic County Justice Facility on Friday night, so a mugshot was not available. The investigation was led by Detective James Barrett. Anyone with information about drug sales should call Atlantic City police at 609-347-5858.
