A Galloway Township man was arrested with a gun during a car stop early Thursday morning.
K-9 Officer Brent Lopez pulled over vehicle on Great Creek Road around Mattix Run at about 1:20 a.m., police said.
Russell Clark IV, 30, of Galloway, was driving.
The passenger, Isiah Tolbert, was found to have a handgun loaded with hollow-point ammunition, according to the report.
Police also found a small amount of marijuana inside the vehicle.
Tolbert, 20, of Galloway, was charged with unlawful possession of a handgun, possession of hollow point bullets and possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana. He was taken to the Atlantic County Justice Facility.
Clark, 30, was charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana and released on a summons. He was also charged with several motor vehicle violations, including possession of a controlled dangerous substance while operating a motor vehicle.
