  • News
A Pleasantville teen was arrested after he allegedly shot himself and then lied to detectives. Atlantic City police were called to the 1400 block of Adams Court on Nov. 4, for a male shot. They found the 15-year-old suffering from a gunshot wound. An investigation by the Violent Crimes Unit found that the teen shot himself, Sgt. Kevin Fair said. A warrant was then issued for his arrest. He was arrested Wednesday, when Galloway Township Officers Paul Dooner and Mark Kienzle were called to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center's Mainland Campus for a disturbance at about 8 p.m., and arrested the teen. Hs was charged with unlawful possession of a weapon, obstruction of justice and providing false reports to law enforcement. He was taken to the Harborfields Juvenile Detention Center.
