Six people were arrested on drug charges after complaints about dealing from an Atlantic City hotel room, police said.
Detectives stopped a car of people leaving the hotel room at 2:48 p.m., and found the driver, Christine Burke, had 950 bags of heroin and 15 grams of cocaine, Sgt. Kevin Fair said. When detectives searched the hotel room in the 1000 block of Pacific Avenue, they found another 52 bags of heroin, along with cocaine and marijuana, according to the report.
Manuel Alicea, 24, of Trenton, had 50 bags of heroin, and was charged with three counts of possession, and also had a contempt of court warrant.
Burke, 28, of Northfield, was charged with three counts of possession, and two counts each of possession with intent to distribute and possession within 500 feet of a public zone. She also had a contempt of court warran
Brianna Ross, 29, and Sara Bisher, 36 of Atlantic City, were charged with three counts each of possession of a controlled dangerous substance. Ross also had a contempt of court warrant.
Bisher is on probation for a prior endangering the welfare of a child charge, records show.
All four were taken to the Atlantic County Justice Facility.
Maya Jones, 28, and Desirae Barnes, 22, both of Mount Holly, were charged with three counts each of possession of CDS. They were released on summonses.
