A Galloway Township man was found with a loaded rifle with an extended magazine during a car stop in Atlantic City on Wednesday night, police said.

Detective Anthony Abrams stopped the car just before 1 p.m. in the area of Tennessee and Adriatic avenues, Sgt. Kevin Fair said.

He found that the driver, Taryn Thompson-Frazier, had an active warrant for his arrest.

Inside the car he found a loaded rifle with a 25-round extended magazine, additional ammunition and prescription pills, according to the report.

Thompson-Frazier, 23, was charged with unlawful possession of an assault weapon, possession of a high-capacity magazine, distribution of prescription legend drugs and contempt of court, along with traffic summonses.

He was taken to the Atlantic County Justice Facility.
