A Millville man is accused of killing his father and then leaving the scene in his dad’s vehicle.
Michael Tedesco, 38, allegedly stabbed his father during an altercation Friday, inside the home on the 400 block of Carlton Avenue, Cumberland County Prosecutor Jennifer Webb-McRae said.
Police arrived at the home at 9:44 a.m., and found 66-year-old Gary Tedesco dead, according to the report.
The victim's mother, Stella Tedesco, had been knocked to the ground during the crime, Webb-McRae said. She did not need medical attention.
Michael Tedesco left the scene in his father’s vehicle, which was later found in area of 6th and Pine streets in Millville.
Tedesco was arrested late Friday night and is being held in the Cumberland County Jail pending a detention hearing.
He is charged with murder, possession of a weapon for unlawful purpose, unlawful possession of a weapon and robbery.
