A Somers Point man was arrested in a stolen vehicle after he was stopped while driving in Longport.
Stephen Feeney was stopped by Patrolman Frank Lupperger pulled over in the beach block of 30th Avenue at 12:25 a.m. Sunday, police said.
An investigation found that the vehicle he was driving was stolen.
The National Crime Information Center had Feeney wanted in a theft out of Galloway Township, according to the report.
Feeney, 49, was arrested and Longport police charged him with receiving stolen property and multiple traffic summonses.
He then was turned over to Galloway police for processing on the theft charges and sent to the Atlantic County Justice Facility.
Feeney has a prior convicted for assault in 2004, when he was sentenced to five years in prison, records show.
