Absecon man missing since March found alive

  • News

A National Guardsman from Absecon missing since March has been found alive.
Patrick Morrisey, 22, left his home March 16, and was reported missing three days later when he hadn't returned home.
He was believed to be suicidal and had exhibited delusional and paranoid behavior in the days before his disappearance, loved ones told police at the time.
An investigation by Absecon police and the New Jersey State Police Missing Persons Unit led to Morrisey being found alive and well Friday, police said.
The Absecon Police Department thanked State Police Missing Persons Unit and other law enforcement agencies spanning the Northeastern United States "for their tireless effort and cooperation in this case."
