An Absecon man admitted Friday to distributing images of child pornography.
Carlos Santiago Gomez, 29, turned himself in last year after the FBI seized cells phones, computers, CDs, thumb drives and hard drives that contained thousands of images of child sexual abuse, according to the charges.
He also posted videos of this abuse to at least two KIK instant message groups.
“Please don’t post adult videos,” he warned those in one of the groups, where he was administrator.
He also set rules, which stated: “Newcomers, welcome. There are just some rules to keep in mind when posting and maintaining your position. 1. Girls only 2. No Toddler 3. Videos only, no links no pictures. 4. Goes without saying but be active. Thanks and enjoy.”
Santiago Gomez could face five to 20 years in prison when he is sentenced June 6 in Camden Federal Court. He also faces a fine of as much as $250,000.
