Man found fatally shot inside car in Atlantic City identified

A man was found shot dead inside a car in Atlantic City on New Year's Day after police responded to a car crash.
He was later identified by officials as Lamir King, who would have turned 22 next week. He was known to friends as Sav.
King was found shot inside a vehicle after it rolled through the intersection at Lincoln and Ohio avenues at about 6:30 p.m., Atlantic County Prosecutor Damon Tyner said.
Efforts to revive him were not successful and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office Major Crimes Unit is investigating.
An autopsy is scheduled for Wednesday.
