A pedestrian was killed when she was struck by a suspended driver Sunday night in Egg Harbor Township.
Dazayn McFadden was driving east on Tilton Road when his car hit the woman in the area of Hingston Avenue in the outside eastbound lane just before 9 p.m., police said.
Pamela Thieman, 53, of the township, was thrown about 75 feet, and sustained fatal injuries, according to the report.
McFadden, 24, of Atlantic City, was issued a summons for operating a motor vehicle while suspended. Criminal charges are pending further investigation.
The area of Tilton Road and Hingston Avenue was shut down for about three hours while the crash was being investigated and the scene cleared.
Officers Louis Poletis, James Ludwig and Benjamin Kollman are investigating.
