Forget the threat of a winter storm and a state of emergency issued by the governor. Hundreds gathered on the Boardwalk in Atlantic City to march against a bigger threat they see. "Women's rights are under attack, what do we do? Stand up fight back," came the rally cry as the Atlantic City Women's March started Saturday morning. The organizers saw fitting to honor Fannie Lou Hamer, who's speech at the Democratic National Convention cemented her as a civil and women's rights leader. At noon, the marchers started to head into Boardwalk Hall to honor Hamer, and others like her.
