Juvenile with stolen gun among nine arrested in Atlantic City drug case, police say

Nine people were arrested in an Atlantic City drug investigation, including at least one person who was given Drug Court in 2016 and a juvenile with a stolen gun.
The investigation by the Special Investigations Section along with the Atlantic City DCJ Metro Task Force targeted drug possession and distribution and quality of life issues, Sgt. Kevin Fair said. 
Detectives recovered cocaine, heroin and prescription pills, along with a  loaded handgun that had been reported stolen from Millville.
A 16-year-old boy from the city was charged with unlawful possession of a weapon, receiving stolen property, resisting arrest and obstruction of justice related to the gun. He is being held at the Harborfields Juvenile Detention Center.
Lionel Bowman, 28, of Atlantic City, was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession with intent to distribute, possession with intent to distribute within 500 feet of a public zone and contempt of court.
David Harmon, 41, of Atlantic City, was charged with contempt of court.
Nicholas Catalano, 29, of Pleasantville, was charged with possession and contempt of court.
All three men have previous convictions, court records show. Catalano had a Drug Court violation in 2017.
Bowman’s priors include a 2014 prison sentence for aggravated assault and a handgun charge.
All three are in the Atlantic County Justice Facility.
The other five arrested were released on summonses.
Jessica Hernandez, 22, of Little Egg Harbor, was charged with eluding and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Elaine Hazard, 52 also of Little Egg Harbor, was charged with possession.
Donald Lewis, 34, and Shonda Rector, 32, both of Atlantic City, were charged with drug possession and possession with intent to distribute.
Kyrie Johnson, 27, of Atlantic City, was charged with contempt of court.
