Bystanders helped free a toddler from a hot car early Saturday morning.
Brandon Morgan, 32, was charged with endangering the welfare of a child after it was discovered he left his 3-year-old son for about three hours in a car parked outside Chickie and Pete's in Egg Harbor Township.
Police were called at about 1:30 Saturday morning, where the child already had been removed by bystanders, police said.
Morgan was found inside the restaurant/bar, police said.
The child was found to be in good health, despite being left in the car that was not running in 85-degree weather, police said.
The child was turned over to his mother.
Morgan, and Atlantic City resident, was charged was charged and released under bail reform, police said.
