An Atlantic City man has been charged with aggravated assault in an attack on a Housing Authority security guard earlier this month.
Officers were called to Jeffries towers at 12:35 a.m. July 13, after the unnamed guard was struck in the head with an object, Sgt. Kevin Fair said.
The 58-year-old victim was taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center's City Campus for a serious injury, according to the report.
Three days later, Karmar Earley was arrested, Fair announced Monday, nearly a week after the arrest.
A flier at all Housing Authority locations was posted that Earley — with his first name spelled as Kamar — was banned, and to call police if he was seen.
