Missing Atlantic City teen shows up safe

  • News

An Atlantic City teen who was reported missing Wednesday showed up safe at school Thursday morning, her mother said.
Ta-ise Washington, 16, is a sophomore at Atlantic City High School.
“She usually is home by 3:30,” her mother, Heather Arroyo, told BreakingAC late Wednesday night.
If she stays after school, Washington is still home by 4:30 p.m., Arroyo said.
“She has never done this before.”
But on Thursday she found that her daughter showed up at school.
"She told us she stayed at a friend's house," Arroyo said.
The girl was refusing to come home.
