An Ocean City man was sentenced to 19 years in prison this week for the 2017 killing of his girlfriend.
Denise Webber, 54, was found dead inside the Wesley Inn apartment she and Paul Kline shared.
Kline, then 49, was arrested shortly after Webber was found strangled.
On Feb. 1 of this year, Kline pleaded guilty to aggravated manslaughter.
He was sentenced to 19 years in prison. He must serve at least 85 percent under the No Early Release Act.
Upon his release, he would have five years of specialized parole.
Cape May County Prosecutor Jeffrey Sutherland commended the Ocean City police and the other agencies who investigated the crime, along with Chief Assistant Prosecutor Saverio Carroccia.
"Our office and all of the county's law enforcement agencies will continue to keep our community safe and make sure that all victims of crimes receive appropriate justice," Sutherland said.
