A woman has been arrested for allegedly stabbing a man in Atlantic City.
Officers were called to the first block of South Texas Avenue at 5:18 Friday night for a man with a stab wound to the leg, Sgt. Kevin Fair said.
The 30-year-old resident was taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center’s City Campus with a serious injury, according to the report.
An investigation by the Street Crimes Unit led to two suspects seen fleeing the area, Fair said.
Elisha Barreto and Hasson Warren, both of Atlantic City, were found at a home in the 4200 block of Filbert Avenue.
Barreto, 18, was charged with aggravated assault, unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose and reckless endangerment.
She is being held in the Atlantic County Justice Facility.
Barreto’s Facebook lists her as being from Egg Harbor City and having attended the city’s Cedar Creek High School.
Warren, 26, was charged with hindering apprehension and released on a summons.
