A Pennsylvania man arrested in the 2014 killing of an Egg Harbor Township woman is now in the Atlantic County Justice Facility.
Timothy Wright, 39, lived in Mays Landing when Joyce Vanderhoff's naked body was found on the side of the road in Hamilton Township on Feb. 14, 2014.
Wright was charged last month with strangling the 25-year-old woman the night before and then dumping her body. He then apparently used GPS to get home from the site, according to information the affidavit that led to his April 29 arrest in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, where he now lives.
Wright was transported from Pennsylvania to the Atlantic County Justice Facility on Wednesday night, jail records show.
He is charged with murder. A detention hearing is scheduled for Tuesday before Superior Court Judge Bernard DeLury.
