Theft suspect makes Hammonton's wanted list again

  • News

A Hammonton man once again has the police looking for him.
Michael Campione II, 32, was wanted in the theft of quad in June, when Hammonton police asked Facebook followers to help find him.
They did. But apparently Campione was released and failed to show up to court, according to court records.
Now, he not only is wanted on that warrant, but is a suspect in the theft of electronics from the Hammonton Shoprite, police said.
On Friday, they announced that this week’s “Felony Friday” would also include “a dash of flashback Friday,” since it was their second time featuring Campione.
He previously was highlighted on their “Wanted Wednesday” on June 26.
The public helped track down Campione once, so the police say they hope it will happen again.
Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to call Detective Hagerty at 609-561-4000, ext. 1.
