An Atlantic City woman and three young children were airlifted from a Galloway Township crash after she ran a stop sign, according to police.Veronica Tyson, 27, was heading south on Breman Avenue just before 4 p.m. Saturday, when she failed to yield at the sign, Sgt. 1st Class Mark D’Esposito said.Tyson’s car struck a car driven by Christopher Gruber, 25, of Galloway, who was heading west on Aloe Street, according to the report.Several juveniles were ejected from the vehicle, according to the initial call.Tyson, along with children ages 5, 2 and 1, was flown to Cooper Health Systems in Camden for treatment, D’Esposito said.Gruber was treated at the scene.Galloway Township police were assisted by Egg Harbor City police, Galloway Township EMS, AtlantiCare Paramedics, the South Egg Harbor and Egg Harbor fire departments, and New Jersey State Police Aviation Bureau.Officer Paul Smith is investigating the crash.Charges are pending the conclusion of the investigation.
