A man and woman were arrested Monday, after they allegedly robbed a man at knifepoint in Atlantic City.
Officer Irwin Sanchez was called to the 1000 block of Sewell Avenue at about 6:30 a.m., and found the 25-year-old victim.
An investigation found that Emmanuel Figueroa held a knife to the Atlantic City man, while Alyssa Raio removed his belongings from his pockets, Sgt. Kevin Fair said.
Sanchez found the suspects at South Carolina and Adriatic avenues, and arrested them.
Figueroa, 26, was found in possession of a knife and two bags of heroin, according to the report.
He and Raio, 28, also had active contempt of court warrants. They were taken to the Atlantic County Justice Facility.
Both were charged with robbery, theft, unlawful possession of a weapon and conspiracy. Figueroa was additionally charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance.
