Traffic could not enter the Atlantic City Expressway east from Delilah Road after a truck crashed into the toll plaza Monday afternoon.
Police were detouring traffic to the Garden State Parkway via Washington Avenue to get back onto the expressway, officials said.
The crash happened at the Exit 9 toll booth.
The driver was taken to the hospital for injuries that were not believed to be life-threatening.
No details about the crash were immediately available.
