Pedestrian struck by cab in Atlantic City

A pedestrian was injured Friday night when he was struck by a cab in Atlantic City.
Police were called to Bellevue and Pacific avenues at about 8 p.m., and found a 60-year-old city man in the roadway.
The cab left the road after striking the pedestrian, then hit a fire hydrant, utility pole and building at Florida and Pacific, Sgt. Kevin Fair said.
The pedestrian was taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center’s City Campus with injuries not considered life-threatening.
Neither he nor the 45-year-old cabdriver was named.
The area was closed for about two hours.  There are no charges at this time pending an ongoing investigation by Officer Tyler Daily.
