Atlantic County now had 41 confirmed cases of COVID-19, the spokeswoman announced Wednesday.The report comes a day after the county said five patients are cleared as recovered.The county's first case was reported March 18."Most individuals with mild or moderate symptoms of the virus, such as fever and cough, are able to recover at home in about two or more weeks," the county said in a statement.The news cases are three women, ages 88, 59 and 47, spokeswoman Linda Gilmore told BreakingAC.There are seven men, ages 34, 38, 50 60, 63, 69 and 79.The county has not provided a breakdown by municipality.Age range and gender were given for the earlier cases.There have been two men in their 20s, who were recovering at home.Another is a man in his late 50s, who was hospitalized, although the county did not indicate where.Other cases announced by the county last week include a man in his 60s, one in his 50s and another in his 30s. Two women — one in her 40s and one in her 20s — also were confirmed positive.Social distancing and quarantine continue to be the best measures to control the spread of the disease.
