Atlantic County confirms 21 more coronavirus cases

Atlantic County health officials confirmed 21 more positive cases of COVID-19 Monday morning.No new deaths or recoveries have been reported, keeping those numbers at 19 and 71, respectively.Confirmed cases are now at 427.

The newly confirmed cases include six Egg Harbor Township residents, three each from Atlantic City and Galloway Township, and two from Estell Manor. One resident each in Brigantine, Hammonton, Linwood, Northfield, Pleasantville, Somers Point and Ventnor also tested positive.

Atlantic County is accepting appointments at its drive-thru testing site behind the Hamilton Mall in Mays Landing from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday

Residents must be symptomatic for respiratory illness, provide a doctor’s script, proof of residency and confirmation of appointment.

.Appointments can be made on the county website: https://www.atlantic-county.org/covid/Those who are unable to keep their appointment are asked to cancel so someone else can fill their spot.
