Atlantic County has 25 newly confirmed COVID-19 cases as of Saturday morning.There are now 606 confirmed cases in the county, including 29 deaths and at least 108 recoveries.The newly confirmed cases include 11 men ages 38 to 75 and 14 women ages 36 to 94.
Pleasantville has seven new cases and Egg Harbor Township has six.Five cases are from Galloway Township, with two each in Hamilton Township and Hammonton.Atlantic City, Ventnor and Margate each have one new case.
Cases are expected to grow as the area has more testing available.
Atlantic County will continue testing next week from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday at the Hamilton Township site.Atlantic City will start testing qualifying residents next week at two sites, including a walk-up site in the Showboat parking lot.
For all sights, residents must be symptomatic for respiratory illness, provide a doctor’s script, proof of residency and confirmation of appointment.
