A Pleasantville High School football player who recently practiced with teammates has tested positive for COVID-19, the superintendent said in a letter to district students and families.
Parents also received a robocall, sources told BreakingAC.
The football team has practiced on campus over the past two weeks, Dr. Natakie Chestnut-Lee wrote.
The students who came in contact with the unnamed student have been informed, she wrote.
Those students have been advised to self-quarantine for 14 days from the last possible exposure.
The district is following CDC guidelines, the superintendent wrote, saying that those with questions should call her office.
