Man allegedly stabbed Atlantic City landlord

An Atlantic City man is jailed after he allegedly stabbed his landlord.Police were called to the rooming house on the beach block of Ocean Avenue at 3:10 p.m. Monday and found the 63-year-old man suffering from multiple stab wounds, Sgt. Kevin Fair said.Officers Brendan Andros and Maria Borsani were told the suspect was still inside, according to the report.Roland Rymarz, 42, was arrested without incident, and the knife was recovered, Fair said.The victim confronted Rymarz after being told he was lighting off fireworks inside the building. There was no indication of that in the report, Fair said.Rymarz grew agitated and stabbed the victim, Fair said. The landlord was taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center's City Campus.Rymarz was charged with aggravated assault, unlawful possession of a weapon and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.He is in the Atlantic County Justice Facility.
