Atlantic County sheriff welcomes new employees

The Atlantic County Sheriff’s Office started the new year with six new employees.All residents of the county, they were sworn in Friday, Sheriff Eric Scheffler announced Monday.They will fill the vacancies left by retirement and others who left the office last year.The newly sworn are: Officers Mario Scottodivetta, 25, of Hammonton; Alexis Gibson, 25, of Absecon, and Victoria Albo, 24, of Galloway Township, and Officer Elissa Vasquez-Croce, 27, of Brigantine, and Investigators Bryan Martyn, 18, of Estelle Manor, and Thomas Reilly, 22, of Egg Harbor Township. Albo will begin work immediately since she is PTC certified, Scheffler said. The other officers/investigators will be part of the 22nd class at the Atlantic County Police Academy. "They are a fine group of individuals and I am excited to have them join the Atlantic County Sheriff's Office," Scheffler said.
