A recent high school graduate was arrested with three pounds of marijuana after a car stop in Galloway Township, police said.
Daegan Leithmann, 18, of Mullica Towsnhip, was pulled over on Cologne Avenue near Aloe Street at 5:4 p.m. Tuesday, Lt. . Christopher McGinty said.
During the stop, K-9 Sgt. 1st Class Scott Winneberger had his partner, Rocky, conduct an exterior sniff of the vehicle, according to the report.
The dog indicated there were drugs in the car, which was then searched.
Police found about three pounds of marijuana, 26 jars of THC wax, drug paraphernalia, packaging materials and $2,500 in cash, McGinty said.
Leithmann, who just graduated from Cedar Creek High School, was alone in the car.
He was charged with two counts each of distribution and possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession of CDS paraphernalia.
He was released on a summons.
