Two drivers were injured after a 72-year-old woman went through a red light in Galloway Township, police said.
Brandy Armpriester, 29, of Galloway, was heading through a green light on Chris Gaupp Drive just before 7 a.m. Thursday, when her vehicle was struck by Bonnie Schmidt, who was making a left turn from Jimmie Leeds Road onto Chris Gaupp, according to the police report.
Schmidt had a red light, police said.
Armpriester’s vehicle flipped over and she was trapped inside along with a dog, police said.
Both were rescued from the vehicle.
Armpriester and Schmidt were both taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center’s Mainland Campus near the scene.
Schmidt was issued a summons for failure to yield right-of-way at an intersection.
The intersection as partially shut down for about an hour for the rescue and investigation.
