More than 1,000 recovered from COVID-19 in Atlantic County

More than 1,000 people in Atlantic County have now officially recovered from COVID-19.There were 127 more residents cleared Thursday, bringing the total to 1,083 of the county's 2,348 confirmed cases.An 87-year-old Hammonton man and 84-year-old Galloway Township man died of complications from the virus, bringing that total to 165.

The county also reported 11 additional residents have tested positive, including a 14-year-old girl.Hamilton Township, Hammonton and Pleasantville each had two newly confirmed cases.Absecon, Buena Vista Township, Folsom, Galloway Township and Mullica Township each had one.

Atlantic County will continue its Covid-19 testing next week. Dates and times will be announced on Friday. Appointments will be available online at www.aclink.org.
