Three days without a COVID-19 death in Atlantic County

Atlantic County health officials reported no new deaths related to the coronavirus for the third day Wednesday.The last death was an 89-year-old woman from Margate, whose death was reported Sunday.Sixteen people ages 18 to 83 have been newly confirmed with the virus, bringing the county total to 2,482 cases.More than 47 percent are listed as recovered.The newly confirmed cases include four Linwood residents, three each from Atlantic City and Egg Harbor Township, two each from Absecon and Pleasantville, and one each from Egg Harbor City and Galloway.

Atlantic County will continue its testing on Tuesday from 9 a.m. to noon behind the Public Works yard in Northfield at New Road and Dolphin Avenue. Appointments can be made online at www.aclink.org.Those tested must be county residents with symptoms and a prescription.
