An Egg Harbor City man is jailed in a stabbing that happened in Pleasantville on Monday morning.Jean Exantus is charged with aggravated assault.
Police were called to the Marina del Rey apartments just before 7 a.m. for the report of a stabbing, Capt. Matt Hartman said.
The 32-year-old resident had a laceration to his torso, according to the report.An investigation by Officers Norman Dennis, Remon Soliman and Daniel Davis, and Sgt. Brandon Stocks led to Exantus' arrest.
He is charged with aggravated assault, unlawful possession of weapon and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.
Exantus, 30, is in the Atlantic County Justice Facility pending a detention hearing.
