The Atlantic City police were called to New York Avenue School on Wednesday to investigate messages relayed to a staff member.In what were described only as "concerning messages," police investigated in conjunction with the Superintendent’s Office, Sgt. Kevin Fair said.The involved students have been interviewed and there is no known threat at this time, Fair said.He would not say how many students were interviewed, but several people saw four being taken from the school.All students and faculty are safe, Fair said.He said no further information is being released, Superintendent Barry Caldwell was still at the school and could not immediately be reached for comment.
