Additional COVID-19 cases connected to Atlantic City MAAC tourney

The Metro Athletic Conference additional confirmed coronavirus cases that were at games, including those in Atlantic City.
The MAAC announced last week that games on March 10 and 11 at Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall had at least one of the infected officials on the floor.
Now, they say "additional persons on or near the floor" have tested positive for COVID-19.
Those include the March 10 first-round tournament games of Iona vs. Canisius and Niagara vs. Marist.
One or more people were also at the March 11 quarterfinal game of St. Peter's vs. Iona."We continue to adhere to the guidance issued by the CDC and federal and state governments in these unprecedented times and we encourage our fans to do the same, the MAAC said in a statement.
