Atlantic, Cape courts ready to address any election day issues

As three local towns have their first mail-in only election Tuesday, Atlantic and Cape May County courts will be ready to hear any voting and election issues.Atlantic City will be voting on whether to change its form of government, while Ventnor and Ocean City will have municipal elections.Physical courtrooms will be closed Tuesday, but the virtual courts are at the ready for any election day problems.Anyone seeking to petition the court on a voting or election issue Tuesday, can call the Atlantic and Cape May County Superior Court by telephone at 609- 402-0100, ext. 47594. Email can also be sent to ATLCIVILADMIN.Mailbox@njcourts.gov .

If appropriate, the matter will be heard by the designated judge with notice to the election officials.

Election officials, petitioners and attorneys will be able to appear before the designated judge by video or telephone.
