The political battle between Atlantic City's mayor and the Democrats that aren't backing him is heating up.
Councilwoman LaToya Dunston, who filled the seat vacated when Marty Small stepped into the mayoral seat, is holding a press conference asking for the attorney general to look into alleged misconduct by Small.
Dunston first brought up the allegations in a series of videos secretly recorded during a meeting Small had with several seniors.
"I didn't know about that meeting until after it happened," Dunston said, adding that the video was sent to her.Dunston's allegations include violations of Hatch Act, unethical behavior and official misconduct.Pamela Thomas-Fields, who backed by the city's Democratic Committee for mayor, also spoke at the conference.
For his part, Small held his own Facebook Live on Friday, addressing the allegations.
