A Galloway Township man was killed in a crash with a school bus Tuesday morning.
No children were injured.
Thomas Malinowski, 33, was traveling north on Pitney Road when he collided with a Thomas Built School Bus heading south in the area between Quail Hill Boulevard and Collins Road just after 7 a.m., Lt. Christopher McGinty said.
The impact caused Malinowski' Mitsubishi Outlander to be pushed off the road, coming to rest in a wooded area.
Members of the Oceanville and Bayview fire companies extricated him. Malinowski was pronounced dead at the scene.
The bus driver, Gualberto Jimenez, 53, of Galloway, and the two student passengers evacuated the bus and were not injured, McGinty said.
Pitney Road was closed for about five hours while the investigation was conducted and vehicles were removed.
