  • News

State Police are looking for a man who allegedly stole more than $1,400 in merchandise from a Buena Vista Township store.
The man allegedly stole from the Tractor Supply Company on Wheat Road during different occasions between Oct. 9 and 15.
The suspect removed UPC price tags from inexpensive items and placed them on more expensive ones, according to police. He then checked out at the register and paid for the illegitimately priced items.
He is described as a 5-foot-10 white male weighing about 170 pounds, with dark hair and dark facial hair.
He was last seen wearing a black-hooded sweatshirt, black pants, dark-colored shoes and a dark hat with sunglasses on top. The suspect is believed to have been staying at a nearby motel during the time the crimes were committed.
Anyone with information is asked to the State Police Buena Vista Station at 609-561-1800, ext. 3442.
