An Atlantic City woman last seen six months ago has been found safe, police said Thursday.
Mary Rechten's landlord asked police to make a wellness check last week after not seeing her in several months.
After not finding her inside her residence in the 4100 block of Atlantic Avenue, police began investigating and found the last time anyone had seen her was April 11, at the Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation in Marlton.
She suffers from a mental illness, according to police.
But on Thursday, police said more investigation resulted in finding out the woman is safe.
No further information was released.
