A Vineland man was arrested hours after in an armed robbery inside an Atlantic City hotel elevator.
Police were called to the Baymont Inn and Suites at 2:13 Sunday morning, where a 35-year-old Brooklyn, N.Y., man said he was robbed at gunpoint, Lt. Kevin Fair said.
A photograph of the suspect was found and given to officers, according to the report.
Officers Irwin Sanchez and Joseph Kelly located a man matching the description of the suspect at 5:31 a.m. at Tennessee and Pacific avenues, Fair said.
The man fled before officers could have contact with him.
He was spotted again a short time later and arrested.
Albert Hannah Jr. also had 20 bags of heroin and a small amount of cocaine, according to the charges.
Hannah, 31, is charged with robbery, theft, unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, certain person not to possess a weapon, tampering with evidence and two counts of possession of a controlled dangerous substance.
He was taken to the Atlantic County Justice Facility.
