A Somers Point man has been arrested in the robbery of a city bank last week.
Greg Bishop, 52, was taken into custody just after 11:30 p.m. Tuesday without incident, Police Chief Robert Somers said.
Bishop allegedly robbed the Republic Bank and fled with an undisclosed amount of money.
No weapon was used.
Somers thanked the public for helping positively identify the suspect after photos were released to the media.
Bishop was charged with robbery and is in the Atlantic County Justice Facility.
Detective John Miller led the investigation.
