A Pleasantville man was arrested with about $55,000 worth of drugs, Atlantic City police said Wednesday.
Maseter Laurent, 28, was pulled over in the 1700 block of Arctic Avenue by Detectives Nick Berardis, James Barrett, and Chris Smith just before 11 a.m. after he was seen in a drug deal, Lt. Kevin Fair said.
The detectives found 660 grams of cocaine, 2,500 bags of heroin, 120 grams of methamphetamine, and almost two pounds of marijuana in his vehicle, according to the report.
He is charged with four counts of possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession with intent to distribute, along possession with intent to distribute within 500 feet of a public zone and possession with intent to distribute within a school zone.
Laurent was taken to the Atlantic County Justice Facility.
