Three New Jersey State Police troopers helped deliver a baby girl Sunday.
Troopers Nicholas Pellegrino, Vincent Caporrino, and Christopher Scarlett from the Buena Vista barracks responded to a residence for a woman in active labor, according to the report.
The woman told the troopers she felt she was going to give birth any minute.
Pellegrino helped her lie down, while Caporrino and Scarlett gathered clean towels to prepare for the birth. Within minutes, the troopers helped deliver the baby.
EMS soon arrived on scene and the troopers assisted in cutting the baby’s umbilical cord, police said.
Both mother and baby were transported to Inspira Hospital in Vineland, where they were listed in stable condition and doing well.
